Personal Trainers Using Life Coaching To Increase Weight Loss

A growing trend in the fight against obesity is the use of traditional exercise and diet combined with life coaching. A well rounded approach focusing one mental and physical wellness is proving more beneficial than physical alone. This is motivating the personal training industry to learn something about life coaching to meet the demands of their clients.

According to the American Council on Exercise, lifestyle coaching will become a bigger trend with more personal trainers looking to improve their clients’ lifestyles. Fitness facilities will hire nutritionists and other healthcare professionals such as physical therapists and psychologists to serve the expanding needs of their health-conscious members including wellness, nutrition and stress management programs. excercise

Wellness coaching and stress management techniques should be part of the personal trainer’s toolbox. Clients will be looking to health clubs to provide total health management. Life coach training can be a great benefit to a personal trainer, increasing their client satisfaction and weight loss and broadening their client base.
